The top of the pagoda has a phase wheel. The height of the whole pagoda is about 36 meters. During the maintenance period of Ming Dynasty, Yang Wei, the Minister of the Ministry of official, wrote "rebuilding the pagoda of Dajue Temple" and carved stones to erect steles. In January 1668, the earthquake broke the pagoda of Dajue temple. In May 1888, the earthquake destroyed half of the pagoda. In 1957, the pagoda was seriously damaged and was in danger of collapse. It was reported to the provincial government for approval to demolish the pagoda above the earth's surface. In June 1991, the Wudi County Party committee and government decided to rebuild Haifeng tower. On July 12 of the same year, the ground was broken and completed in September 1992. The new Haifeng tower is located 50 meters north of the former site of Tang tower. The new tower is octagonal pavilion type, with a total of 13 levels and a height of 42 meters. The body of the tower is a frame structure, with 9 cement columns in the center and eight corners. The exterior is built with big green bricks, which is simple, elegant, firm and durable. It not only maintains the style of the Tang tower, but also has some innovation in the architectural structure. Li duo, vice chairman of the Chinese Calligrapher Association, wrote a couplet for Haifeng Pagoda: "Haiyu has no Shuangyi, Fengyu is the first state"; Zhao Puchu, chairman of the Chinese Buddhist Association, happily wrote the plaque of Haifeng pagoda. Haifeng tower is the symbol of Wudi's splendid culture, and there are many legends about it. The most popular are Manjusri Bodhisattva's "Wudi resting on his feet to collect relics", curium pagoda, Liu Yong's Jujube opera, he Jizhi's building of Haifeng pagoda, etc. Among them, the most popular is the legend of Manjusri Bodhisattva "Wudi resting on his feet to collect relics". According to legend, Manjusri preached in Wutai Mountain. At that time, there was no spring in the valley of Wutai Mountain, and the mountain was not green. There were few birds in the sky, and there were no animals in the earth. Manjusri wanted to use the water of the East China Sea to dispel the heat of Wutai Mountain, and let the barren mountains green, the gullies and streams, the pines green, the flowers and fruits fragrant. So, Manjusri came to Donghai and borrowed the "cool stone" from the Dragon King. On his way back to Wutai Mountain, he passed by the ancient Yidi city. Suddenly, he felt the gentle wind blowing, the beautiful sun shining, the Yingying state, surrounded by birds and the fragrance of flowers. With a sense of floating into the immortal, he sat down and had a rest. I thought: although it's not a famous mountain or a great river, it's also a good place for Buddhism. Why don't you put the relic in the soil to feel the kindness of the Buddha and appreciate the beautiful scenery here. Then he took the sariki Guanyin, recited the mantra, and buried the sariki in the ground. During the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty, Buddhism was widely spread, and the saying of Manjusri Bodhisattva "Wudi resting and collecting relics" spread to Chang'an, Kyoto. Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty sent Wei Chi Gong to supervise the construction of the Tang tower in Wudi. There is a folk saying that "Cangzhou lion, Haifeng tower, iron Bodhisattva of Dongguang County", which is also known as the three victories of Hebei and Shandong.
