Introduction
At Anlan Wharf in the city, overlooking Oubei, you can see the twin towers standing on the top of two mountain peaks that look like turtles and snakes. In the past, when fishing boats entered the Oujiang Estuary, the fishermen knew that they had arrived at Dayong when they saw the tower
Therefore, Luofu Twin Towers became the standard towers of Yongjia.
Turn to Oubei and pass a mountain road to guishanyao. When you look down, you can have a panoramic view of Oujiang River. At this time, the rape flowers are blooming noisily, and the golden rape flower field is rendering a vibrant and colorful traditional Chinese painting.
To the top of the mountain, facing is the turtle tower, the tower plane is hexagonal, brick Pavilion style. The body of the pagoda is conical and shrinks layer by layer. The gate of each layer is built, and sometimes niches are made to worship the Buddha. The waist eaves are made of brick rafters and flyers. The wing angles are dragon shaped, and the beam of the young corner has wings.
The tower was built in the fifth year of Yuankang in the Western Jin Dynasty (295) and rebuilt in the seventh year of Yuanfeng in the Song Dynasty (1084). Opposite is the snake tower of Snake Mountain. The two towers are far away from each other. Their form and structure are almost the same, and they are still intact.
Speaking of these two towers, there is also an interesting folklore. It is said that a long time ago, this ancient land was dry year after year, with cracked fields, yellow grass seedlings and withered trees everywhere. People's life was miserable, and the old people of Luofu village gathered to pray for rain. God told the world that this was due to the ebb and flow of Oujiang River, and the local Guishan and Sheshan were at the top of the list. So Lin's ancestors stepped forward and mobilized the villagers to build a tower on the top of the two demons. The tower was like a nail, nailing the two mountains firmly in place. The local Qingzhu clay of Lin's village was made into bricks, and the inscription "Luofu Lin's Tower stele" was engraved on each brick. During the construction, they mistakenly put the brick with words upside down on the tower, which unexpectedly formed another unique feature of the tower, that is, the upside down of the word Lin. It is said that after the completion of the two towers as scheduled, the evil demons were really subdued, and the people lived and worked in peace and contentment again.
Now the local government plans to build the two mountains into parks for people's leisure.
Luofu Twin Towers accompany Oubei through ups and downs, carrying the heavy feelings of Oubei people.
South Tower Scenic Area
Walking on the South Bank of Oujiang River and looking north across the river, you can see two ancient pagodas on the top of a modern community. There is Luofu Mountain at the south end of Luofu East Village, Oubei Town, Yongjia, Wenzhou. In the plan is the Double Tower Park.
"Yongjia County gazetteer:" Luofu Mountain, in the North Bank of the river, five miles to the city, a Miluo mountain, now known as Pingtou. ". There are two hills in the northwest of the confluence of Oujiang River and Nanxi River, more than 180 meters apart. The mountain in the north is called Zhangshan, with an altitude of 51 meters. The mountain is long and looks like a snake crawling from east to west, so it is also called Snake Mountain. According to wenzhoufu annals of Wanli in Ming Dynasty, there was a pavilion on Zhangshan, named Jinjiang Pavilion, which was named after the sentence "jinsanjiang brings Wuhu" in tengwangge preface by Wang Bo of Tang Dynasty. Jinjiang Pavilion is located on the mountain and overlooking the river. It is magnificent. It has disappeared for a long time. The southern mountain is called Luoshan, also known as Heshan, with an altitude of 66.4 meters. Because the shape of the mountain is very similar to a turtle crawling from west to East, it is also called Guishan. On the north side of the mountain, there is Yangfu temple, and on the far side there are Yuanting and jiangjundian ruins. There is a well at the northern foot of the mountain, and the spring never dries up. In the early days, the two mountains were like two huge ships floating in the river, and the water around them was sparkling, bumpy and swaying. With the passage of time and the vicissitudes of life, an alluvial plain has been formed here, connecting the two mountains, which has become today's situation.
There are two ancient pagodas on the top of the turtle and snake mountains, which are called Luofu twin pagodas. Wenzhou ancient pagoda is the earliest in the Western Jin Dynasty. Futu was first established in the fifth year of Yuankang in the Western Jin Dynasty (295 A.D.) and rebuilt in the seventh year of Yuanfeng in the Song Dynasty (1084 A.D.). The present tower was rebuilt by Lin Xiang, a native of Ming Dynasty. In 1991, with the support of the county people's government and relevant departments, the Oubei Town Committee and the town government allocated funds to repair the Luofu twin towers on a large scale, which was completed on October 25 of the same year.
The form and structure of the two towers are almost the same, and the preservation is still complete. It is brick pavilion type. The pagoda has seven steps on six sides. The body of the pagoda is conical and shrinks layer by layer. The gate of each layer is built, and sometimes niches are made to worship the Buddha. The leaning column is hexagonal, and the (wooden) column, the (outer door, inner East) forehead and the Pu Bai Fang are flat square. The top of the column is made of brick, the waist eaves are made of brick, the rafters and flyers are made of brick, the wing angle is dragon shaped, and the beam of the young angle is warped. The base of the tower is made of block stones, and the pavement is made of strip stones. The six characters "Luofu Lin's Tower brick" are printed on the tower brick. The Luofu twin towers and the Jiangxin tower are resplendent from each other. Luofu Twin Towers face each other across the Oujiang River and in the middle of the river.
The earth is written by people, and the scenery is passed on by people. Scholars of all ages chanted for it. Yongjia of the Qing Dynasty instructed Chen Yuchun to write the poem "Luofu Twin Towers" and said, "where are you going? There are famous mountains on the sea. Fish can be picked up when the tide falls, and geese can climb when the clouds are low. Outside the fairyland of a city, there is a double tower painting room. When the road, who knows, the day should kick me idle
Climb to the top of the mountain and come to the foot of the ancient pagoda. Although the ancient pagoda has been repaired in the past, its current condition is not very good. There is damage to the west side of Xumi block in the bottom tower foundation. The western gate of the pagoda is wide open. Climb up to xumizuo and enter the pagoda through the gate. This stone Buddha statue is inlaid on the wall facing the gate. Where the plaster on the inner wall of the tower peels off, you can see the tower brick with the six characters of "Luofu Lin's Tower brick". The tower is hollow, and there is no tower ladder for climbing. The tower is covered in scarlet. The waist eaves of the ground floor are missing. From the structure of holes on the bottom columns, the ancient pagoda should have secondary steps at the beginning. The rest of the eaves were damaged differently. The Dougong under the eaves is like the wings of a bird. The second floor is southwest and northeast, the third floor is southeast and northwest, the fourth floor is East and West, the fifth floor is southwest and northeast, the sixth floor is southeast and northwest, the seventh floor is East and West, and the rest are false windows. There is a lamp niche on each side of the window. Tasha is a stone vase.
