Mianniushan kiln is located in Xiajin village, Qiaotou town, Yongjia. The accumulation layer is 50 meters long, 30 meters wide and 3 meters thick. Products include bowls, plates, cans, stoves, bowls, cups, washes, pours and high foot cups. The inner bottom of the bowl and plate is decorated with peony, lotus, Pisces, etc. The patterns are also printed with auspicious phrases or business names, such as Huizu Beiji, Renshou, Shou, Tian, Qinghe, Xi, Xichu, C, etc. There are three kinds of glaze colors: pink, plum and bean. The glaze layer is 1 mm thick and the appearance is as clear as jade. The fetal bones of the utensils are delicate, thick and white with gray. In the billet, a high iron content of purple soil is added. After burning, it appears vermilion, so it matches with glaze color. All kinds of dishes, bowls, double fish washing, high foot cup, double ear pot, dowry stove, plum blossom cup and brown stippling decoration on the surface of the utensils are the same as those found in the sunken ships fished out from the sea bottom of Xin'an in South Korea and the fostat sites in Japan and Egypt. The height of the kiln bed is about 1.8 meters and the width is 2 meters. The wall of the kiln is built by waste saggers, and the arch of the kiln top is built horizontally with knife shaped adobe bricks. The method of firing is to pack one pot into one pot, with three or four pots in one pot. It belongs to Longquan kiln system of Yuan Dynasty.
