Former site of cadre rest home of Central Administration Bureau

The former site of the cadre rest home of the central administration bureau is located in taobaoyu village, Nanniwan Town, Baota District. The main building of the rest center is a two-story wooden building, commonly known as the red building. The building was designed by Zhang Xiehe and constructed by 359 brigades and other units. It was planned to be built in March 1943 and completed in September. Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Lin Boqu, Xu Fanting, Xie Juezai and others recuperated here one after another.
