The mother rivers of the Chinese nation, the Yangtze River, the Yellow River and the Mekong River (Lancang River), the largest river in Southeast Asia, all originate in Yushu. The majestic Tanggula and the vast Kunlun Mountains give birth to the hardworking, forthright, hardworking and indomitable character of the Kangba children in Yushu. Yushu is an important part of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, and forms a natural region of its own system in the hinterland of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. The snow peak glacier, which is dominated by the main peak of the Tanggula mountains and the gladandon peak, breeds three famous rivers in China, such as the Yellow River and Lancang River, headed by the Wanli Yangtze River. Yushu prefecture, founded in December 1951, is the first Ethnic Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province and the second in China. It has the highest proportion of main ethnic groups, the highest altitude, the largest per capita area and the most important ecological position among the 30 ethnic autonomous prefectures in China. The Yangtze River, the Yellow River and the Lancang River all originate in this area. The Sanjiangyuan Nature Reserve and the Kekexili nature reserve cover the whole territory of the Autonomous Prefecture. They are known as the source of rivers, the ancestor of famous mountains, the land of yaks, the hometown of singing and dancing and the water Tower of China. Jiegu, the capital of the Autonomous Prefecture, is an important town of the Tang and Tibetan Ancient Road in history, and also a private trade distribution center at the junction of Qinghai, Sichuan and Tibet.
