Dali has picturesque scenery all year round. Among many scenic spots, the four most famous and fascinating are wind, flower, snow and moon. On the four scenes of wind, flower, snow and moon, the local Bai people have a riddle poem handed down from generation to generation. The poem says: when insects enter the phoenix nest, birds are not seen (wind); when seven people grow green grass (flowers); when the drizzle falls on Hengshan Mountain (snow), half a friend is not seen (month). In January 1962, Cao Jinghua, a famous writer, visited Dali. After he visited Dali, he was filled with emotion about the four scenes of wind, flower, snow and moon A poem: Xiaguan wind, Shangguan flower, Xiaguan wind blows Shangguan flower; Cangshan snow, Erhai moon, Erhai moon shines Cangshan snow.
