Located in the north of the middle section of yu'er road in Dali ancient city, yu'er garden covers an area of 28 mu. The original site was Dali agricultural and Forestry Experimental Farm in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, which was opened as "Zhidan Park" during the Anti Japanese War, and became the fruit nursery base of forestry department after liberation. It is Dali's cultural tradition to build gardens in the ancient city of Dali. There used to be moyou garden, Wujia garden, Yangjia garden and so on. Li Yuanyang, a scholar of Dali in the Ming Dynasty, wrote in his poem "Ode to the garden of Wu family:" Ye Yucheng is at the edge of Bijiang River, and the garden in the city loves to plant flowers; Wei Xiangdu mausoleum is full of weeds, so don't feel like walking into the king's home. When the garden was completed and opened up, Ma Yao, a famous historian of Bai nationality, wrote the inscription of yu'er garden for yu'er garden. Yu Er yuan sets the essence of the Bai nationality architecture, the white gate gateways with the outer cornices, the elegant and exquisite three sides of the walls, and the walls of the eaves and colored paintings. The garden is mainly composed of stone inlaid flower stands of Bai nationality with famous flowers of Dali. It is interspersed with old people's activity area, teahouse, stele Pavilion, stone square and pool, forming a rich and interesting traditional garden of Dali.
