Liuyin Park
Liuyin park is the only mountain village park with idyllic scenery in Beijing. The park covers an area of 17.47 hectares, including about 7 hectares of water. Liuyin Park was originally known as "jiudahu". It is said that at the end of the Ming Dynasty, there was a palace treasure hidden here. Someone dug more than Zhang Yu's land and failed to find the treasure. However, it was found that the excavated soil was the first-class raw material for firing bricks, so this place was dug into a kiln.
In 1958, the original kiln pit was transformed into a "Jiuda" artificial lake. It was renamed Liuyin Park in 1984, officially opened on May 1, 1992, and opened free of charge since 2013. After years of development, Liuyin park has formed two characteristics: one is the only mountain village park with idyllic scenery in Beijing, and the other is the success of "Liu". More than 30 varieties of willows are planted in the park.

The park also often holds activities such as ecological protection, science and technology, middle school entrance examination, house changing meeting, etc.

Second, it is the only mountain village park with idyllic scenery in Beijing. There are four scenic spots in spring, summer, autumn and winter in the park, reflecting the natural and simple scenery characteristics from different seasons. When the flowers bloom in spring every year, flocks of wild ducks come together and breed on the wild duck island. They live with night herons, magpies and squirrels, forming a good natural ecological environment. In the hot summer sun, the green willows are reflected on the surface of the lake. With the swaying lotus leaves and the lotus flowers in Yuli, people feel cool and comfortable. When the autumn wind blows, the reeds in the garden are golden. There are a lot of boats on the lake. There are lots of songs on the top of the mountain. It's natural and interesting. It's a rare green pure land in the bustling urban area, such as in the countryside or in the South of the Yangtze River. When snowflakes fall in winter, overlooking the water, the farmhouses with plain tiles and white walls are hidden in the trees, which are integrated with the natural environment, making people relaxed and happy.
The garden road of Liuyin park is paved with bluestone slabs, winding and undulating. The countryside of the park is beautiful in spring and solid in autumn, just like a peach garden. It is known as "the village in the city" by people, and there are endless tourists. The park also often holds folk art, ecological protection, science and technology publicity and other activities, which are beneficial for tourists, especially primary and secondary school students, to increase their knowledge and broaden their horizons. The main scenic spots are Liuchun Island, "Youyi village", Yeya Island, Beihu scenic area, Zhongshui scenic area, etc.
Main attractions
Liuchun Island
In the center of the park, surrounded by water, three stone bridges connect with the land bank. There are Liuyin Pavilion on the top of the mountain, Ailian Pavilion, shuiyuexuan and liuxiangxie near the water. The hills, lakes, stones, bridges, lotus flowers, green grass and so on are adjacent to each other. Step by step, the scenery is different, showing picturesque beauty.
"Another village" scenic spot
Taking the ancient poem "mountains are heavy, rivers are complex, there is no way to go, and there is another village with dark willows and bright flowers" as the artistic conception, the village at the foot of the natural mountain is concentrated in the garden within a short distance, in which the stone carving of herding boy herding cattle reflects the idea of building a garden with wild interest and pastoral scenery in a mountain village.
Wild duck Island
On the east side of the South Lake of the park, it was originally the scenic spot of "one lake and three mountains"; on the island, there are dense reeds. When the spring is warm and the ice is open, groups of wild ducks come together and breed here, so it is also called "wild duck island".
North Lake Scenic Area
In the north of the park, the 200 meter long area along the lake is dominated by trees, flowers and lawns, with evergreen trees such as Pinus tabulaeformis, Pinus armandii, Sabina chinensis and Sabina vulgaris as the background. Combined with the landform, trees, shrubs and grasses are organically integrated and lush. Along the Bank of the lake, Qingshiban stepped stone slope protection is adopted, which is natural and smooth. Water lilies suitable for Northern growth are introduced to the bank, adding new beauty.
Zhongshui Scenic Area
Taking the garden village landscape style of the park as the main line, the scenic spot sets up a small distribution square for tourists to enjoy and rest, which meets the functional needs of tourists' activities and entertainment. The greening landscape is treated by natural way, paying attention to the close combination of human and nature, and enjoying both refined and popular tastes, which reflects the purpose of returning to nature. With the combination of road lights, tree lights and lawn lights, a fresh and natural garden atmosphere is created. It is a gorgeous scene of Liuyin Park and a good place for tourists to enjoy flowers. The project won the "2005 Beijing Greening Quality Project" award issued by Beijing Municipal Bureau of landscape architecture.

Communication impact
Renewable resources
Liuyin park used to buy 170000 tons of clean water from rivers and lakes in Beijing every year for lake water replenishment. The make-up water is supplied from the upstream of Songlin sluice, the north moat, through the municipal rainwater and sewage confluence drainage pipeline. After 4 kilometers of detour, the water body has been polluted when it flows into the park. What's more, with the increasing shortage of water resources and the dry weather in recent years, it is difficult for Liuyin park to buy municipal water from the river pollution management office to fill Liuyin lake.
Due to the lack of water supply and quality guarantee, the lake water is seriously polluted, and the growth of aquatic plants and aquatic animals are threatened. In 2004, the Dongcheng District government listed the Liuyin lake water treatment project as the "compromise project" of the district government. With the approval of the district Party committee and the district government, the garden Department of Dongcheng District takes the lead in the construction of a sewage treatment station. The municipal domestic sewage flowing through the northwest of the park is treated and recycled by using microbial treatment technology. In July 2004, the lake water treatment project was officially launched and opened in November 2005
