Beibanyuan

Beibanyuan, or Lu's banyuan, is located at No. 60, Baita East Road. It was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Suzhou in 1982. In the Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty, Daotai and Anhui people Lu Jiemei built it and named it "banyuan" (because it is in the north of the Shi's banyuan in Cangmi lane, now commonly known as "beibanyuan") after 1949, it was successively used by the wooden pot and barrel society, the ribbon factory, the Dongwu silk weaving factory, and the third textile machinery factory. The garden is located in the east of the residence, with the pool in the middle, surrounded by boat hall, waterside pavilion, curved corridor and half Pavilion. The buildings are mostly characterized by "half". The two-story and half double eaves Pavilion in the northeast of the garden is the only one seen in Suzhou gardens. The garden is planted with Pinus bungeana, Euonymus japonicus, wisteria and other flowers and trees. The existing garden area is 1130 square meters, which was opened to the public after maintenance in 1992.

Beibanyuan

The garden was built by Shen Shiyi during the reign of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty. Shen Shiyi, whose name is Hanbo, was born in Wuxian County, Jiangsu Province. In the 12th year of Shunzhi, he became a Jinshi and an official to Xima.
