"Ai Dao" is the name of a person, who is exactly Sakyamuni's aunt. "Da Ai Dao Bi Qiu Ni Jing" says: "on the seventh day of Buddha's birth, his mother, Madame moye, died, and his aunt Da Ai Dao raised her for her sister. After the Buddha became a Taoist, his aunt was allowed to lead 500 palace members to practice Buddhism. From then on, there was the first female practice group in the Buddhist monk group. Da Ai Dao became a bhiksuni teacher for female practitioners. As a result, women's love, compassion, kindness and gentleness were integrated into the supreme Bodhi to interpret and promote the equality, kindness, selflessness and hatred of Buddhism. AI Dao Tang takes its meaning as its name.
In 1941, master Longlian founded the female chamber of lianzong in aidaotang, where he advocated the Dharma and raoyi was affectionate. Later, due to the narrow space of the hall, the beams and columns of the hall were broken, and the extension was moved. After several years, the construction cost was only good luck.
Zhao Puchu, the late chairman of the Chinese Buddhist Association and vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), paid more attention to the expansion of Aidao hall, and planned strategies in the hope that the Vatican of Aidao hall would be revived and the Dharma would be performed.
In 2000, under the warm support of Manjusri temple, Zhaojue temple, Baoguang temple and Shijing temple in the province; under the strong support of Hong Kong residents Yang Zhao and Yang Xun and colleagues of Hong Kong Xuri group; under the support of Buddhist believers Leshi Jingcai Suixi merits and virtues; and in Hong Kong, Chen Yongxiang, Yu Guoyan and others spared no effort from beginning to end, after a year and a half of expansion In the reconstruction project, aidaotang is finally presented in the center of Chengdu City with a brand-new look. The majestic palace, the cornice painted buildings, the solemn Buddha statues, and the melodious chimes make people happy for the prosperous times.

Longlian, the first contemporary bhiksuni, is a sacred Bodhisattva in the hearts of believers, a legendary talented woman in the eyes of ordinary people, and a real person who loves the world and paves the way in my heart.
When she recites "Prajna is always in self nature", "in self nature, all dharmas can be seen, and all dharmas are in self nature, which is called pure Dharma body", "Buddha is the work of self nature", Longlian has gone through the course of nearly a century. She shows not only the nature of conforming to the natural way of heaven, but also her indomitable fighting spirit. It can be said: self-confidence in Buddhism, self-awareness of empty door practice, since the birth of the world, know to see a Buddha.
1、 Buddha's confidence
Master Longlian, a native of Leshan, Sichuan Province, was born on March 13, 1909 under the common surname you. He lived with his mother at his grandfather's home since childhood because of the marriage between his parents. In her early years, her grandfather named her Dechun; her later weak and sick aunt named her Yongkang; in order to express her idea of equality between men and women, she expressed great dissatisfaction with the feudal idea that men are superior to women in her father's name for her children, so she named her Mingyan?
Longlian was gifted and intelligent since she was a child. She could recognize "Yan" and "cicada" before she spoke. In her early years, there was a picture of "Yanxi, the descendant of Tang Mao Jinxuan, and Tinghui Yushu, who was the first in the family". She could identify the two words "Yan" and "cicada" with a guide. Since she was 3 years old, she began to learn the quatrains of the Tang Dynasty, and she was catchy. As a little older, she was taught in turn by her elders. She had no regular teacher. She had been wearing boys' clothes since she was a child. At the age of 13, she studied in Leshan girls' primary school. Her grandfather was the principal of the school at that time, so she changed from boys' clothes to girls' clothes. In July of that year, when her grandfather passed away, she ended her school life. With the help of her father, she began to study by herself. Since the age of 3, Longlian has learned to be a vegetarian with her grandmother, burning incense and worshiping Buddha. Since the age of 13, she has been a vegetarian till now. It is said that a senior scholar surnamed Xiong never married (Longlian's father's teacher). When he taught his younger brother to grow up, he left his job and lived in the "bear cave" in the countryside. Most of his fellow countrymen and friends were strangers. The visitors could not bear the disturbance. They lived in Buddhist temples. They were afraid that they would not go deep into the mountains, especially their names. They traveled to Leshan, Wuyu temple and often to their houses. When Longlian's father arrived in Shanghai, Xiong Gaoshi asked tuolonglian's father to ask Master Yinguang to instruct him to practice in holy land on his behalf. When master Yinguang went out, Longlian's father left a letter stating his intention. Later, master Yinguang pointed out in thousands of words of reply: "if you can let go, then where is not the Taoist temple." Since then, Xiong Gaoshi has no intention to travel. Longlian is more determined to take the road of learning Buddhism. If her grandmother is the first person to guide her to learn Buddhism, Xiong Gaoshi is the second person to influence her to learn Buddhism.
When she was 11 years old, Longlian visited Wuyu temple with her father. When she learned that master Dayong had come to the mountain, she was waiting by Kuangyi Pavilion. She saw master Dayong in golden Navy float by the mountain road with her own eyes. She felt confident, so she said that I would always wear this dress. The Buddha's fate was well connected. Master Dayong's body shadow rooted in her heart and left her vision of life.
When she was 13 years old, after her grandfather, who loved Longlian very much, died, Longlian collected a large number of books and documents left by her grandfather. She got a book named "path in the middle, path in the middle" by Zhang Shicheng of the Qing Dynasty. After reading it, she was "floating like a dream, everything is empty.". It's well known and can be said. However, all day long, I have been pursuing everything. I didn't wake up and thought that it would melt after I died. Or think that death is rebirth, not to worry about There is no end to it. If you want to get rid of this suffering, you should give up your pure land and go back. From then on, she embarked on the path of Buddhism. At that time, she was different from many monks. From the appearance, she was neither seeking a way out of the hardship of life, nor escaping from the blow of life. Huigen or fate could not do without her pure childlike innocence and the chance of harmony between the time, the place and the people. Therefore, I understand that master Longlian's wisdom of Buddhism originates from his self-confidence and follows his fate.
2、 Self realization of Buddha's mind
"Buddhism is the benevolence of salvation, Buddhism is the mother of salvation" (Sun Yat Sen's language), "Buddhism is self-confidence rather than superstition, positive rather than negative, joining the world rather than wearying the world, and good rather than only good" (Liang Qichao's language), "Sakyamuni is really a great philosopher, he has already enlightened us on the problems we usually have in life" (Lu Xun's language).
In 1931, Longlian left her father's hometown for the first time and came to Chengdu, the capital city of the province. With the help of her father's friends, she went to the lectern of women's middle school in Chengdu county to teach mathematics for the first time in her life. She made a modest contribution to helping her family's life. At the same time, her talent was also revealed in the society. Longlian was diligent and inquisitive all her life. She learned poetry, painting and calligraphy from Mr. Liu Yubo and Mr. Liu Zhuyuan. She took part in the "Sichuan provincial examination for ordinary administrative personnel and higher education administrative personnel", and her two scores were ranked first, especially the theory of "recruiting scholars to prosper the dynasty, and the people to honor officials" attracted the world's attention. This article can be said to be similar to another article of her girlhood, "the theory that the country must be defeated by itself and then by others", or it can be called sister In the previous chapter, long Lian's view on how a country can consolidate its political power is expressed. Fish rot is rotten in the belly. If a country wants to survive, it must first consolidate its political power itself. The latter part talks about how to consolidate: those in power must be "in the public interest" and out of the public mind. That is to say, she said in her article, "when the country is falling apart, the people are in dire straits, and a gentleman with ambition will come out and stay in danger. What is his skill? He said: "in the public, only the public produces wisdom, and only the bright produces governance..."
Buddha is the one who has already realized, and man is the one who has not yet realized. Buddhism can realize the world, but it can't change the existing state of the world. Although Buddhism can help all living beings to get away from suffering and happiness, whether they can get it or not depends on their subjective efforts. Longlian is a woman with extraordinary wisdom. She sees that all around her are the black smoke of the reactionary rulers' bullying, corruption, intrigue and intrigue. For a pure and educated weak woman, she can not change this ugly society, but also maintain her own integrity. What can she do? She has to stick to the road of being in the society and entering the Buddhist kingdom. She firmly believes that the kingdom of Buddhism is not in the sky but in the world. Wherever Buddhism spreads and Buddhism is carried forward, there is a Buddhist world corresponding to the history and culture of the region. Leshan, the hometown of Longlian, is a place where Buddhist culture has spread for a long time. There are countless historical and cultural heritages, and many unsolved mysteries that have been lost due to human damage, natural disasters and dynasty changes. In order to solve these mysteries, Longlian read history, geography, Chinese, studied mathematics, medicine, sculpture, studied poetry, calligraphy and painting, English Tibetan, and advocated running schools, writing books and learning, translating scriptures and preaching, and promoting Buddhism. In the eyes of the world, Longlian is a true monk, a nun monk, an eminent monk, a Grandmaster, and even a living Bodhisattva. In my eyes, she is a mortal with great compassion, kindness, enlightenment, wisdom, profound knowledge, noble morality, and one of the leaders of the Buddhist world. She carried forward Buddhism and preached scriptures without mystification. She always put "teaching" into life and labor. Through ordinary life and hard work, she made believers fully understand.
