Ninghai is located in the middle section of the Chinese mainland coastline, the eastern coast of Zhejiang Province, between Xiangshan port and Sanmen Bay, where Tiantai Mountain and four Mingshan mountains converge, and the Ningbo city counties are planned to be one of the first batch of coastal open areas approved by the State Council.
