On February 16, 2013, ruoliao primeval forest scenic spot finally received the document of national tourism scenic spot quality rating committee (No. 3, 2013), and ruoliao primeval forest scenic spot in southern Zhejiang officially became a national AAAA scenic spot. This is also the only high-level tourist attraction in Songyang county.

With a total area of more than 40000 Mu and a forest coverage rate of 95%, ruoliao primeval forest scenic area is a comprehensive tourist attraction with original ecological natural landscape, health preservation and leisure, exploration and sightseeing, scientific research, culture and education, conference and business, etc. It was developed and constructed by Songyang County Changyun Co., Ltd. in August 2000, opened for business in May 2001, and was rated as national 3A scenic spot in 2006. In October 2010, Hangzhou dianjin tourism planning and Design Institute was invited to plan ruoliao andaihou scenic spot scientifically, and more reasonable block positioning was carried out. More than 42 million yuan was invested in infrastructure construction, improving scenic service facilities and adding new entertainment projects. New tourist center, RV base, camping base, barbecue base, outdoor swimming pool, three-star tourist toilet, shopping center, folk customs experience workshop, safety guardrail and walking path have been built. The scenic area has taken on a new look. At the same time, staff training has been strengthened, service skills have been improved, and the management and service level of the scenic spot have been comprehensively improved. In the process of the establishment, the county Party committee and the county government and the provincial, municipal and county competent departments gave strong support, and the government functional departments and the local towns and townships cooperated closely, so that the work of the establishment was carried out steadily and orderly. On December 9, 2012, the on-site evaluation of scenic spots by experts from the National Tourism Administration was held.

Ruoliao primeval forest scenic area was promoted to national AAAA scenic spot, which ended the current situation that there was no high-grade scenic spot in our county. This is "Shiren Ji". It is said that a long time ago, there was a group of mountain bandits who often harassed the nearby villages. One day, when he rushed to the village to rob, he was beaten head-on by the villagers. In a rage, the bandit leader took the captured villagers to the edge of shirengji cliff and forced them to jump down. When Su Yu and Liu Ying led the Red Army into the division and moved to the southwest of Zhejiang, hundreds of Red Army soldiers and masses were killed by the Kuomintang army under this cliff, so they were called "shashaiji".

One of the "top ten scenic spots in Lishui City", the Rhododendron forest with thousands of mu of land along the mian River, with a long history and a reputation of "Ten Mile sea of flowers", is rare in China and can be called a wonder in the world. It is located at the south foot of Ruoliaoxian, bordering on Longquan City. It is surrounded by mountains, dense forest, high mountains and dangerous terrain.
