The story takes place in an old temple on the mountain. It tells the story of Shoichi kowakami, who bid farewell to his mother and went to the mountains to worship her teacher. After experiencing many tests such as enlightenment, learning arts, casting and thinking of others, he finally became a great master. The eternal theme of life is "tribulation and growth".
