Qiannanyu Oriental Eden

Qiannanyu ecotourism area is located in Jiangshui town in the west of Xingtai County, 60 kilometers away from the urban area of Xingtai. There are Xinghe line and Pingshe line in the scenic area, with convenient transportation. Covering an area of 116.8 square kilometers, the scenic spot has eight characteristics, including red tour, ecological tour, green tour, health tour, cultural tour, experience tour, search tour and shock tour. It has more than 180 human landscapes and natural landscapes, and is divided into ten scenic spots: Kangda viewing area, ecological sightseeing area, Huashan Scenic Area, chuanlinguo Park, sanzhiguo scenic area and dashiyan scenic area And Longgong scenic area.

Qiannanyu is the former site of the headquarters of the Chinese people's Anti Japanese Red Army University. It has been named "national patriotic education base" by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and "national defense education base" by the Ministry of national defense. Qiannanyu, known as the "Pearl of Taihang", has a vegetation coverage rate of 94.6%. In 1995, it won the nomination award of "five hundred best in China" from the joint environmental programme and was praised as "the greenest place in Taihang Mountain" by forestry experts. Wanbangzhen orchard has ten thousand mu of chestnuts all over the mountains. Xinjiang thin skinned walnut, American Kat apricot, American red grape, Australian autumn nectarine, almond, European hazelnut, Ukrainian cherry, Eucommia ulmoides, raspberry, Hokkaido Euonymus and thousand roses have settled here.
