Dahongzhai scenic spot is located in Jiushan Town, the northwest border of Yuzhou City, Henan Province, which is known as the "capital of Xia, Jun and Yao". Dahong village, also known as wofoshan, is 1156 meters above sea level. It is named after Dahong, an important official of the Yellow Emperor, who built the village to pacify the people. It is known as "the first village in China". It is also known as "the roof of Liancheng" and "the ancestor of mountains" in Yuzhou City. Located at the junction of Dengfeng, Yuzhou and Ruzhou in Pingdingshan of Zhengzhou, it is said that "one step crosses three cities". With Yongquan River as the boundary, it is naturally divided into North and south areas. The mountains are majestic, steep and magnificent. It echoes Songshan Mountain in the middle of the mountain. From east to west, there are 19 landscapes in the Southern District, including spider mountain, Liyuan mountain, orchid mountain and agate mountain. As a result of the people's war in Jiushan town in the 1950s, now from east to west, pines, cypresses and willows are green, poplars are towering, Chinese prickly ash is fragrant, Robinia pseudoacacia is in pieces, and red hawthorn is hanging all over the branches. In spring and summer, thousands of trees and flowers are magnificent, competing with the original natural trees and flowers in the North District. It's really refreshing and unforgettable. In the scenic spot, clear springs and streams can be seen everywhere, and dams and reservoirs are dotted with them like mirrors. From west to East, there are Mingdong spring in the hillside of Dahongzhai, chenyao spring covered by old ginger trees, Haiyan spring in the crevice of limestone, and Bailongtan and Heilongtan under the cliff. The water quality of these springs and pools is clean and spotless, and there are Jinpen Reservoir, Wuhe reservoir and Shimen Reservoir in the mountains. Throughout the year, the water is full, clear and blue, ducks and gulls flying, fish and shrimp flying.

In the center of Dahongzhai, the first thing you can see is a female white fruit tree, also known as Gongsun tree or ginkgo tree, which has a history of more than 1500 years. In the simple folk custom, the ancient trees are worshipped as gods. There are many red ribbons on the trees, which are people's good wishes! According to the inscriptions, the temple is a branch of Zen Buddhism, which has been confirmed by the Shaolin Temple. The temple yard is located in the place where jiudaoling veins gather. It is surrounded by mountains on the left, middle and right. There is a flat Mound under it, which looks like a confession.
