Taohua island style park

Taohuadao is located in Taohuadao village, Qinlou street, Donggang District. It is 1000 meters away from the shore and 406 meters above sea level. It is the only and nearest island in the city's sea area.

Taohua island is made of rocks. After thousands of years of wave digging, it has formed a natural landscape with various shapes and strange stones. The historic sites include dressing table, sacrificial table, censer stone, sword testing stone, tiannv bath pool, etc.

Surrounded by rock formations, the island's heart is a sea of sand that stretches for hundreds of meters. At the center of the island is a sweet water spring. It was once known as the name of supporting the healthy and eliminating evil. There is no lack of incense in the past dynasties.

It is said that in ancient times, the Nanyi invaded here, and the Anbei King led his troops to resist, but eventually he fled because he was outnumbered. When he fled to this place, he was blocked by the sea, followed by pursuers. When he looked up to the sky and sighed, he found an island across the water, so he took the reins of an Oolong horse and went straight for the island. When the pursuers arrived, they saw that the sea was full of fog and the sea was soaring. The pursuers thought that king Anbei had thrown himself into the sea and left. The next day, after the ebb tide, King Anbei swam to the shore on horseback and made a promise to build the statue of Poseidon and mount the statue of Oolong horse on the island. However, due to the chaos of war, this wish could not be realized. Its descendants come here to worship every year, so it is named "escape island" to commemorate, and later evolved into "Peach Blossom Island".
