Tangya river tourist area

Tangya river tourist area in Hubei Province is located in Xianfeng County, Enshi Prefecture, Hubei Province. Taking Tangya River Basin as the main line, it mainly includes Nuerzhai maliuxi scenic area, the first drift scenic area in the center of the earth in China, Huangjindong scenic area and Tangya Tusi imperial city ruins scenic area.

Tangya river is the ancient glacier road. It belongs to Wujiang River system. After entering Qianjiang River in Chongqing, it is called Apeng river. It flows into Wujiang River at gongtan. It is said that "the bank turns to Fujiang River and flows backward 3800 Li". Tangya river basin is the most mature and well preserved area of chieftain civilization in China. It is called "one river with six chieftains and thousand man caves on both sides". There are the most complete Tusi imperial city of Tangya and the largest gunpowder site group in China.

Tangya river is not only a river of culture, but also a famous river of Customs in the junction of Hubei, Chongqing, Hunan and Guizhou. Xianfeng is known as "the hometown of stilted buildings in Ganlan of China". Its stilted buildings are mainly distributed in Tangya River Basin, with maliuxi village as a typical representative. The characteristic dwellings and ancient villages of the 18 ethnic groups are close to the mountains and rivers, hidden under the green pines and bamboos. The ethnic customs are simple and full-bodied, and the folk arts such as dishes, wearing flowers, playing gongs and drums, Nuo opera and southern opera are colorful.
