Xinghua village is located 2 kilometers north of Qiting Town, Macheng City, close to national highway 106. The people here are simple, hospitable and courteous, and the villagers' houses still maintain the style of ancient architecture. With a total planning area of 9 square kilometers, it is a good place for sightseeing, vacation and leisure. It is a national 3A scenic spot and a famous tourism village in Hubei Province. Xinghua village has a long history. According to historical records, this is Du Mu's famous poem: "during the Qingming Festival, it rains one after another, and the pedestrians on the road want to die. Where is the restaurant? Qiting is located on the main road from Luoyang to Huangzhou. It is an ancient city since the Southern Dynasties. According to the annals of Macheng County in the third year of Guangxu, it was built in Yiting County in the middle of Yuanxi, Emperor Wen of Song Dynasty. It was written in Qiting County of Liangqi (one of the ten Manxian counties), "after the ancient Yiting, it was Qiting. At the intersection of Guangxu and Huangzhou, it was an important town to guard Huaihe River." According to the records of Huangzhou Prefecture: "in the third year of Wude, Tingzhou was established as a county. It is also set up in Yangcheng County. First, Du Mu had been to Xinghua village in Qiting. In the spring of the second year of Huichang (842 AD) of emperor Wuzong of Tang Dynasty, Du Mu was released as the governor of Huangzhou by wailang, a member of Bibu. It was not until September of the fourth year of Huichang that he left Huangzhou to become the governor of Chizhou. In Huangzhou for more than two years, he was not only worried about the state affairs, but also deeply missed his family and friends. He was very depressed and lonely. Therefore, he often drank, wrote poems, played chess and poured out his feelings. At the same time, they often go to the places of interest and historic sites near Huangzhou, either for investigation or recreation. He has been to Qizhou and Lanxi. In Lanxi, he thought of Qu Yuan because of orchids. Qu Yuan himself had the ambition to improve the politics of Chu, but he was loyal and slandered, believed and doubted, and was exiled to Jiangnan by the king of Chu. Du Mu sympathized with Qu Yuan and wrote a poem named Lanxi

At the same time, Du Mu has been to Mulan mountain in Huangpi. This poem can be found not only in the county annals, but also in the anthology of Fan Chuan

Mulan mountain is 150 miles northwest of Huangzhou City. It was Mulan County in the Southern Qi Dynasty, changed to Liang'an County in the Liang Dynasty, changed to Mulan County in the Sui Dynasty, and merged into Huangzhou in the Tang Dynasty. Du Mu started from Huangzhou (Queen's city) and passed Xinzhou (Ying City) to Xinghua village in Qiting. Then he went north from Xinghua village to Hongan county and reached Mulan mountain in Huangpi, northwest of Hongan county. According to the mileage, Xinghua village post station is on its middle road. It is possible for Du Mu to stay in Yingcheng and Xinghua village.
