Dizang Temple
Balikun once enjoyed the title of "temple crown all over Xinjiang" in Qing Dynasty. According to the local records of Zhenxi, the dizang Temple "during the Daoguang period, there were four temples in YingYing and three temples in Sanxiang. The number of temples was majestic, and Chengjun was magnificent." Because of its geographical location and natural conditions, Balikun was a place that all dynasties attached great importance to and worked hard to manage. At the same time, it is also a place for military strategists. In order to maintain the unity of the motherland, social stability, national unity has played a huge role. At the same time, the construction of temples in Balikun has a history of nearly 200 years, and a rare Temple community appeared in Xinjiang.
Balikun is an important town on the Beixin road of the ancient Silk Road. It enjoys the reputation of "three commercial ports" and "eight famous cities" in Xinjiang. During the prosperous period of the Kangxi Dynasty, there began to be the climax of military, commercial, civilian, criminal, residential and flag villages, and the construction of temples was also on the rise. There were 57 temples built within seven and a half miles of Seoul and Mancheng. At that time, according to the population of the city, 50 people were the wonders of a temple. In addition, there were nearly 100 temples dug up on the Barkol grassland in Sanxiang. The wide content of temples is rare in China. There are Buddhism, Taoism, Lamaism, Islam, Christianity, jesus religion, as well as virtues, sages and immortals. Due to various historical reasons, it was destroyed once. Now there are only dizang temple and Xiangu temple, which are the largest and most complete Temple communities in Xinjiang. Dizang temple was built in the second year of Jiaqing by Minqin merchants in Gansu Province. It is also called Minqin guild hall. The meeting is held on May 16 of the lunar calendar every year. Dizang temple is located outside the South Gate of Seoul. The whole courtyard is located in the South and the north of the temple. It covers an area of more than ten mu. The gate is extremely magnificent. The upper and lower structure is the stage of the temple, and the lower is the entrance and exit gate. There is a stone drum on each side of the gate. Entering the mountain gate is the theater square and also a place for trade exchange. To the inside is a magnificent Pavilion, which is elevated to the top. To the left and right of the pavilion are the East and West Wing rooms. Couplets are carved on the door pillars of the wing rooms: "before the palliative Hall, we are palliated. On the bridge, we are called Naihe Naihe" (West Wing room) "I can't tell people anything if I have ever read a book.".
