Bugong White House

The main building of Potala Palace consists of three parts. The Red Palace is in the middle, the White House in the East and zhaxia in the West. Generally, the White House and the red palace open alternately. The Red Palace is mainly a place for religious activities and the pagoda of the Dalai Lama, while the White House is an administrative office and resting place. The White House is named for its white exterior wall.

Traffic information: if you start from Beijing East Road where tourists stay, you can walk there. Taxi costs 10 yuan and tricycle costs 3-5 yuan.
