Tangjiahe scenic spot
Tangjiahe scenic spot is located in Qingchuan County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. Subtropical monsoon climate. National AAAA tourist attraction. It was built in 1978 with a total area of 40000 hectares, including 17000 hectares of forest.
The main purpose is to protect the giant panda, golden monkey, takin and other rare wild animals.
Development history
The predecessor of Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve is the former Qingchuan logging factory of Mianyang special area and the forest management office of Qingchuan county.
In 1978, it was established on the basis of demolishing the former logging factory in Mianyang special area and the forest management office in Qingchuan County, which was reported by the Sichuan Provincial Revolutionary Committee and approved by the State Council with the document GF (1978) No. 256. Due to the rich biodiversity in the area, in order to facilitate the protection and management,
From 1985 to 1986, the provincial government allocated 1.1 million yuan. Through the efforts of governments at all levels, 301 people from 65 households in Qianshao village were moved out of the reserve, which controlled the interference of human activities and created a good environment for the reproduction and survival of rare wild animals and plants such as giant pandas.
In July 1986, the State Council approved the upgrading to a national nature reserve with a total area of 410900 mu.
In December 1991, with the approval of the people's Government of Sichuan Province, Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve was jointly managed by the original province and county, and the provincial management system was changed to the direct management of the Forestry Department of Sichuan Province. The forestry bureaus of Guangyuan City and Qingchuan County assisted in the protection and management of Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve The "National Nature Reserve Management Office" is a vice county level institution directly under the Forestry Department of Sichuan Province.
geographical environment
Tangjiahe Nature Reserve is located in Qingchuan County on the northwest edge of Sichuan Basin. It is located in the south of Motianling mountain on the north side of Longmen Mountain. The whole terrain is inclined from northwest to Southeast. The terrain is complex, with overlapping peaks and sharp cutting. The altitude of Motianling mountain on the north edge is 3000 meters, and that of dacaoping mountain on the northwest corner is 3837 meters. The valley is generally below 1500 meters. This area belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, warm and humid, with more rainfall.
natural resources
It is located in the transition zone from the northern end of Hengduan Mountains to the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. During the Quaternary glacial activity, there was no large area of ice cover, so many ancient species were preserved. According to the survey, there are more than 3100 kinds of higher plants in the area, and more than 10 kinds of precious tree species, such as Davidia involucrata, Ilex, Acer mono, Eucommia ulmoides, etc. The vegetation shows a typical vertical distribution. There are 310 species of vertebrates, among which giant panda is one of the national key protected wild animals
There are 25 species, such as golden monkey, takin, green tailed pheasant, blue eared pheasant, red bellied pheasant and giant salamander, which are extremely precious. The number and species of thrushes living in shrubs are the most, with a total of 17 species.
Giant pandas are abundant and concentrated in the area. They mainly live in the areas of mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests and subalpine coniferous forests at 1700-3000m above sea level. These areas are rich in Fargesia resources. The bamboo that blossomed and died in the 1970s has been renewed and grown to more than 1 meter high, providing rich food and good living environment for rare animals such as giant pandas, making the giant pandas in the reserve live a good life. Baixiongping ecological observation station, the second well-known wild observation station of giant panda established in the reserve, is located here.
At the same time, it is also an important transit station for migratory birds to migrate from temperate zone to tropical zone, which is rare in China. Therefore, Tangjiahe Nature Reserve has important protection, scientific research, education and ecological value.
Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve is located in the deep valley of the Minshan mountains on the edge of the southwest basin. There are five kinds of belts in the area, including mountain evergreen broad-leaved forest, evergreen broad-leaved and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest, coniferous broad-leaved mixed forest, subalpine coniferous forest, alpine shrub and meadow. There are 2422 species of higher plants, among which more than 10 species are listed as national key protected plants, such as Davidia involucrata and Lianxiang tree, and more than 50 species of precious Chinese medicinal materials, such as notopterygium Notopterygii, Gastrodia elata and Fritillaria. Flowering plants began to appear in the middle of March, and frost stopped at the end of April. From April to may, the grass and wood plants grow fast, and the antelopes go down to the valley to feed, or gather in groups in the forest. Snub nosed monkeys descend to birch forest distribution area to feed on buds. From June to July, flowers are in full bloom in the valley, bees and butterflies are flying, antelopes return to the virgin forest and alpine meadow, and snub nosed monkeys move to the high altitude coniferous forest belt. In August, the black bear moved down to the valley to collect fruit. Autumn comes in September and leaves turn red. After January, autumn is very thick. In the middle of October, the leaves withered and the mountains snowed. In the middle of December, with heavy snow, the black bear went into hibernation, while the giant panda wandered on the hillside all winter to feed on the frozen Fargesia.

During the Ming Dynasty, Ming general Fu Youde followed Deng AI's example to destroy Xia. In modern times, Xu Xiang, the front part of the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army, encountered Hu Zong in the south of Motianling for several days, in order to open up the channel of Anti Japanese War to the north. There are many legends about historical sites on the ancient Yinping Road, such as Motianling, beixiongguan, Kongming stele, ziziya, modaoshi, hupanshi, luoyigou, luoyiqiao, Hongjun bridge and so on.
