Mr. Lu Xun taught in Xiamen University from September 1926 to January 1927. During his stay in Xiamen University, he began to live in the National College on the third floor of the College of biology, which is close to the sea in the southeast. Soon he moved to the second room on the left of Jimei building. In 1952, Jimei building was set up as Lu Xun's memorial room, and later merged with Lu Xun's cultural relics exhibition room to become Lu Xun's Memorial Hall of Xiamen University.

Built in 1956, Beijing Lu Xun Museum is located in Lu Xun's former residence, No.19, er Tiao, inner palace gate, Fuchengmen, Beijing. On October 19, 2006, it was reopened after reconstruction. The museum is the earliest "Museum of biography" in New China.

Beijing Lu Xun Museum is located in Lu Xun's former residence, No.19, er Tiao, inner palace gate, Fuchengmen, Beijing. Completed and opened in 1956, it is the earliest "Museum of biography" in New China.
Lu Xun's former residence in the Museum (formerly No. 21, West santiao, Fuchengmen) is a three Bay small courtyard, which was purchased by Lu Xun at the end of 1923. In the spring of 1924, he designed and rebuilt a courtyard. From May 1924 to August 1926, Lu Xun lived here. It was Lu Xun's last residence in Beijing. This ordinary small courtyard is the best preserved and the only one open to the outside world in Lu Xun's former residence. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit.
Collection
There are green brick walls, vermilion doors and windows, and white cloves planted by Lu Xun in the courtyard. They have gone through more than 70 years of ups and downs and are still luxuriant. The daily necessities displayed in the former residence are all the original things used by Lu Xun and his family. These rooms have been restored according to the scene of Lu Xun's residence.
Among the exquisite works in the exhibition hall are Lu Xun's geological contribution manuscript, the only incomplete manuscript of the true story of Ah Q, Lu Xun's self portrait manuscript in his 20s, Lu Xun's anatomy notes in Xiantai Medical College, etc.
According to the official website of the museum in 2019, there are more than 70000 cultural relics, books and other collections, including 759 national first-class cultural relics
. Among them, there are not only a large number of Lu Xun's manuscripts, books, rubbings of Steles, letters from friends and other cultural relics, but also the relics of Lu Xun's contemporaries such as Xu Guangping and Qian Xuantong.
The significance of Library Construction
Lu Xun Museum is a social science figure Museum established to commemorate and learn from Lu Xun, a giant of Chinese ideology and culture. It is the ideological education base of the central government and the patriotic education base of Beijing.
