Deut hangd Grand Canyon Scenic Spot is located in the west of Hunan Province, China. "Dezhen" is a transliteration of Miao language Deut hangd (Miao), which means "beautiful canyon". It is the only national key scenic spot in Hunan Province integrating natural landscape and Miao customs. It is located in Wuling mountain range, 24 kilometers away from Jishou City, and can be reached by driving 30 minutes.

Dehang is located at the critical point of climbing from the third step to the second step of China's terrain. The geographical fault has created a magnificent Canyon landform.

Based on this geographical feature, over the past 100 years, it has successively created two engineering miracles in the history of road and Bridge - "the wonder of aizhaipo highway" and "the world's first suspension bridge".

Dehang Gorge

Dehang Canyon is a typical karst Canyon landform in China, including yuquanxi Grand Canyon, zhanxiaxi Grand Canyon and jiulongxi Grand Canyon.

Here, there is a wonderful "tianwentai" hanging in the Grand Canyon of yuquanmen, spreading the story of Qu Yuan's sad asking the sky.

The wonder of aizhaipo highway

"Aizhaipo highway wonder" is the Xiangxi section of Xiangchuan highway. It was built during the Anti Japanese War, mainly for the convenience of withdrawing and transporting military materials and troops. It was completed in 1936.

The highway is about six kilometers long, but it is built on a slope with a horizontal distance of less than 100 meters, a vertical height of 440 meters and a slope of 70-90 degrees.

Such a specific space forces the road to move left and right, turning 13 sharp corners, forming 26 almost parallel, overlapping roads.

Figuratively speaking, the appearance of this section of road is like a long folded belt, a compressed spring and a steep multistage ladder.

In fact, it is said that during the construction at that time, long "steps" were cut vertically on the slope of the mountain, and then the two ends of the "steps" were connected. The world's first suspension bridge

In 2010, the construction of the world's first suspension bridge broke ground. By the end of March 2012, the Aizhai suspension bridge in Hunan Province, which is the world's first in four categories, was officially opened to traffic.

The suspension bridge, with a drop of 400 meters and a main span of 1176 meters, is the first of its kind in the world.

The completion of the bridge will greatly solve the traffic jam of Aizhai highway.
