Purple Hat Mountain
Located in Zimao Town, Jinjiang City, Fujian Province, Zimao mountain, together with Qingyuan mountain, Pengshan mountain and luoshang mountain, is known as the "four mountains of Quanzhou". At an altitude of 517.8 meters, it is often covered with purple clouds. In the Tang Dynasty, there was a Golden Millet cave on the mountain, where the real people of Yuande lived to practice. It is said that the original "Golden Millet cave" on the mountain was written by Emperor ningzong of Song Dynasty when he lived here. In the Ming Dynasty, there were Taoist temples and Lingxiao pagodas, which were destroyed. There are 18 stone carvings of song, Ming and Qing Dynasties on the mountain. Because of the lush flowers and trees on the mountain, it is quiet and quiet. Since ancient times, it has been known as "purple hat Lingxiao" and is one of the ten scenic spots in Quanzhou. Since Tang Dynasty, it has been a famous scenic spot.

Scenic landscape
The purple hat mountains are undulating, some steep, some winding, some exquisite, some beautiful. There are high cliffs and waterfalls in the mountains, and the springs are jingling. At the foot of the mountain, the purple lakes and Zixi lakes are rippling, wide or narrow, zigzag and graceful. Along the hillsides and fields around the lake, there are many fruit trees, such as longan, litchi, waxberry and persimmon. JinSu cave, guxuan temple, guyuanshi and miaofengyuan in the mountains are the places where famous Taoists of Tang, song, Ming and Qing Dynasties studied and practiced. Baofu temple, Anfu temple, Puzhao temple and Wuta rock all have traces of Buddha carving and cliff stone carving of ancient sages. All over the mountains, a hundred stone carvings with the word "heart" in different shapes are even more a wonder of cultural relics in China.
In Wang Shipeng's poem, "Qingyuan Water connects Nanming, and Purple Hat Mountain connects Taiyue and Qiao.". Quanzhou talent Chen Zifeng also has "Qinglai source water cold north, purple hat peak show South".
Purple Hat Mountain is a scenic spot for famous poets in the past dynasties, such as Xu Yin of the late Tang Dynasty, Bai Yuchan of the Northern Song Dynasty, Gong Bing of the Yuan Dynasty, Chen Zifeng of the Ming Dynasty and zhugelu of the Qing Dynasty.
Lingying temple, formerly known as purple hat rock, was built in the late Tang Dynasty (923-936 A.D.) and has a history of more than 1000 years. It is dedicated to Li Wenyu, the master of flesh Buddha, who is honored as one of the "three real people and six ancestors" in Southern Fujian.
The red tile building is the memorial hall of master Hongyi. From October 1940 to April 1941, at the request of master Dingmei, abbot of Lingying temple, master Hongyi, a famous modern monk, hung up Lingying temple and wrote inscriptions for the restoration of Zhenshen pagoda. During his stay in Wuxi, he also wrote many couplets and poems, leaving many precious ink treasures.
