Baoan Park

Shenzhen Bao'an park is located in Baocheng 114 District, starting from Shangchuan road in the East, Xin'an Road in the south, Gongyuan road in the West and Guangshen Expressway in the north. As the largest municipal park in western Shenzhen, the park covers an area of 72.5 hectares, of which mountains account for about 90%, and the highest peak is 125 meters above sea level. It is built close to the mountains to protect the nature, topography, landform and existing forest vegetation to the maximum extent. Baoan park master plan is a set of leisure, entertainment, fitness in one of the ecological Municipal Park, dedicated to creating a beautiful, comfortable, safe garden environment for the public. The park is rich in vegetation, fresh air, birds singing and flowers fragrance, beautiful scenery.

The park is mainly divided into six scenic spots: Spring Bud kite dance, orchid fragrance Valley, colorful feicui, Yuquan Bibo, mountain and sea Range Rover and Bitao cuixiao. It provides a good place for more than 3 million people in Bao'an to climb mountains and keep fit, ecological sightseeing, entertainment and vacation.

Walking West from the South Gate of the park, there is Lijing square. The square is a good place for morning exercise and recreation. Stepping into the east gate, you will find a 40000 square meter leisure and entertainment square. It is also a sea of flowers and a Grand View Garden of exotic flowers. Red, orange, yellow, green, green, blue, purple, all kinds of flowers and plants are put here all year round, which is a place for leisure and flower appreciation.

Visitors can climb to the top of the mountain along the main garden road, secondary garden road or five climbing paths. As a leisure and fitness venue, the park has two standard tennis courts beside the East Gate District, two football fields and a basketball court beside the South Gate District, and a children's playground at the East gate and west gate for children to play. In addition, there are four artificial lakes, a litchi forest square of nearly 3000 square meters, Guanlan teahouse, peak teahouse and other service facilities, which greatly facilitate the public's garden fitness.

The top of the park is the mountain and sea scenic spot. Climb to the top of the mountain and stop on the "Range Rover platform". You can have a panoramic view of the undulating mountains, the turbulent Pearl River and the prosperous urban streets. The peak is 125 meters above sea level. Although it is not as majestic and precipitous as Mount Tai in the East, climbing to the top of the mountain still gives people the feeling of "being able to climb to the top of the mountain and see all the small mountains at a glance". They can taste the soul of the mountain and the charm of the sea, and their mind is suddenly broadened.

There are four hundred and fifty parking spaces at the East, South and West gates of the park. In order to facilitate the rest of the public, the park has five pavilions and six rest platforms. Standing on the rest platform at the top of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of the prosperous city. Bao'an park will continue to improve its facilities and organize various cultural and recreational activities to enhance the cultural connotation of the park and enrich the leisure life of the public.

Construction and development

The park was built in 1994 and started construction in December 2003. It was officially opened to the public on New Year's day in 2005 with a total investment of 60 million yuan. It is the largest park with complete facilities in Bao'an District.
