Huaqing College of Xi'an University of architecture and technology is a full-time undergraduate college established in 2004 by Xi'an University of architecture and technology and social forces with the approval of the Ministry of education.

The college is located in the famous historical and cultural city of Xi'an, at the east end of the south 2nd Ring Road, in the south section of the happy forest belt of Xi'an high tech East Development Zone, overlooking the famous Tang Dynasty Wild Goose Pagoda in the south, the world-famous Ming Dynasty Chang'an city wall in the North, and the beautiful Chanba ecological park in the East. The college covers an area of more than 600 mu, three kilometers away from Yanta campus of Xi'an University of architecture and technology, with convenient transportation, elegant environment and unique style. The college has a high standard teaching building, apartment building, library, catering service center, college student activity center, computing center, indoor and outdoor playground, multimedia classroom and training base. Huaqing College of Xi'an University of architecture and technology is a teaching undergraduate college with civil engineering and architecture as its characteristics, engineering technology, economic management as its main body, and art as well. The college has 8 departments, including architecture and art, civil engineering, environmental engineering, information and control engineering, mechanical and electronic engineering, materials and mineral resources engineering, economic and trade, metallurgical engineering, 37 undergraduate majors and 8 functional departments. At present, there are nearly 11000 full-time students and 960 teaching staff, including nearly 700 full-time teachers. Teachers with senior titles account for 60% of the total number of teachers. In accordance with the spirit of the regulations of the people's Republic of China on academic degrees and the relevant documents of the Academic Degrees Committee of Shaanxi Province, students who have completed all the courses specified in the teaching plan will be awarded the diploma of Huaqing College of Xi'an University of architecture and technology after passing the examination. The college enrolls students from 30 provinces, cities and autonomous regions in China. Since 2013, all majors of the college have been promoted to the second batch of undergraduate enrollment in Shaanxi Province, and it is also the only second undergraduate enrollment college among similar colleges in Shaanxi Province.
