Shantou University

Shantou University is a key comprehensive university under the "211 Project" of Guangdong Province approved by the State Council in 1981. It is a University jointly built by the Ministry of education, Guangdong Province and Li Ka Shing Foundation. It is also the only public university in the world continuously funded by Li Ka Shing Foundation, a private foundation. The school is located in the northwest of Shantou, a coastal city. It covers an area of 1920.18 Mu and a building area of 448400 square meters.

Li Jiacheng foundation has committed more than HK $6 billion to Shantou University (including Changjiang Business School).
