Huaibei Normal University is located in the national energy base and national garden city of Huaibei City, Anhui Province. It is a multi-disciplinary provincial key university. Founded in 1974, it was Anhui Normal University Huaibei branch. Approved by the State Council in December 1978, it was named Huaibei Coal Normal University, which was subordinate to the former Ministry of coal industry and enrolled students nationwide. In September 1998, the management system of "central and local co construction, with Anhui Province as the main management" was implemented. Approved by the Ministry of education in March 2010, it was renamed Huaibei Normal University. In 2003, he was authorized to confer master's degree. In 2007, he won the "excellent" grade in the undergraduate teaching evaluation of the Ministry of education. In 2009, it was added as a provincial doctoral training unit and a postdoctoral training unit.
