Tianfu College of Southwest University of Finance and economics is approved by the Ministry of Education (JFH [2006] No. 81), Fujiang campus, one of the three campuses of Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (Guanghua campus, Liulin campus and Fujiang campus), is replaced as a whole. It is an independent college established by inheriting all the teachers and management team, school running philosophy, books and materials, teaching equipment, campus buildings and living facilities of the former e-commerce College of Southwestern University of Finance and economics. In 2010 and 2012, our university was awarded the title of "excellent undergraduate college for graduates' employment" by Sichuan Provincial Department of education, and won the title of "China's education reform and innovation model college in the 21st century" in the 2010 China Education annual evaluation list, and the title of "top 10 Asia Pacific Education Innovation Demonstration Base" in 2011. With the approval of Sichuan Provincial Education and Examination Institute (Sichuan Education and Examination Institute [2012] No. 22), our undergraduate students have been admitted to the second batch of undergraduate students in Sichuan Province since 2012.

The school has three campuses: Mianyang campus, Chengdu Campus (East) and Chengdu Campus (West). Mianyang campus is an undergraduate teaching area, which is located in Mianyang, the second largest city in Sichuan Province, China Science and Technology City (only 1.5 hours' drive away from Chengdu, the provincial capital). Chengdu campus is located in Longtan headquarters economic city, the second section of the East Third Ring Road in Chengdu, with the East District as a specialized teaching area and the west district as a training base for college students' entrepreneurship. The three campuses cover an area of more than 900 mu. In addition, more than 1300 mu of land has been obtained for the construction of the new campus in Luojiang County, Deyang City.
