South College of Sun Yat sen University is an independent college (JFH [2006] No.87, college Code: 12619) established by Sun Yat sen University and Guangdong Zhujiang investment group in cooperation with the spirit of the Ministry of education's Jiao Fa [2003] No.8 document. It is a multi-disciplinary full-time application-oriented undergraduate college.

Campus construction

The college is located in Conghua, Guangzhou, which is known as the "pearl on the Tropic of cancer" and "urban peach garden" and famous for its hot springs. It is about 80 kilometers away from the center of Guangzhou. The campus layout is elegant, beautiful and quiet, which is a beautiful place to cultivate sentiment and study.

The college covers an area of 1000 mu, with a planned building area of 456000 square meters. At present, 353000 square meters of building area have been built and put into use, and 28000 square meters of building area are under construction.
