Education and teaching system:
Flexible learning system breaks the traditional limitation of academic year system. According to the relevant regulations, students can independently determine the length of study in school; within the specified 3-8 years, they can complete the required credits and graduate; during the semester, students can apply to retain their student status, and can continue to return to school after a short-term suspension and employment.
Three semester system: two long semesters and 18 weeks of teaching. During the "primary school period" of four weeks in the summer vacation, various teaching activities such as social learning, overseas study tour, lectures of famous teachers and comprehensive practical training are carried out for students to choose their own learning.
Second major selection - students can choose their second major independently according to the prescribed time and procedure.
Mutual recognition of Credits: the same courses are offered for different majors, and each major recognizes each other. The credits of interdisciplinary courses can be transferred within the prescribed course modules.
Independent course selection - all general elective courses are selected by the whole school. Starting from grade 08, within 20% of the capacity, students can freely choose general compulsory courses; in professional courses (except special courses), students can independently choose courses, teachers and class time across majors and departments within 20% of the capacity.
Minor major - each major shall make a teaching plan for minor, double major and double degree according to its needs.
