Tianjin urban construction university is a Municipal University in Tianjin. It was founded in 1978, formerly known as the architectural branch of Tianjin University. In 1987, it was renamed Tianjin urban construction college, and in 2013, it was even more now. Li Ruihuan, former chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, inscribed the name of the school. The University adheres to the principle of undergraduate education, vigorously develops postgraduate education, actively develops continuing education, and gradually develops international student education. There are 17400 full-time students, including 16500 undergraduates and 900 postgraduates. It has 50 undergraduate majors, including 28 in engineering, 6 in science and 8 in management.
