Beijing self study university

Founded in 1977, Beijing self study university is the first comprehensive, full-time private university founded after the founding of new China. In 1984, Comrade Deng Xiaoping named our university Beijing self study university and wrote the name of the University in his own handwriting. Since its establishment for more than 30 years, it has trained more than 300000 kinds of talents for the country. Jiang Chunyun (former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and vice premier of the State Council) and Zhang Haidi, current chairman of the all China Disabled Persons' Federation, are all graduates of our school. Sponsored by the Chinese Academy of culture, Beijing self study university brings together many leading masters and famous professors and scholars in the fields of Humanities and natural sciences in China. Professor Tang Yijie of Peking University is the chairman of the academic committee of our university, and Professor Wang shouchang of Peking University is the vice chairman of the academic committee.
