Anhui Broadcasting Movie and Television College

Anhui Radio, film and television vocational and technical college is a public institution of higher learning directly under the management of Anhui Provincial Department of education and under the business guidance of Anhui Provincial Bureau of press, publication, radio, film and television. It is also one of the earliest institutions in China to hold radio, film and television higher vocational education, and has won the "excellent" grade in the talent training assessment of Anhui higher vocational colleges.

The college is located at the intersection of Wenzhong road and Xuefu Road of higher education base in Xinzhan District, Hefei City, covering an area of 618.89 mu. The college was founded in 1960, when it was called Anhui intermediate broadcasting school. In 1984, the school was renamed Anhui Radio and television school, which is open to the whole province. In July 2002, it was upgraded to Anhui Radio, film and television vocational and technical college, facing the national enrollment.

The college has journalism department, film and television art department, information engineering department, broadcasting department, management department, basic teaching department and training center. At present, there are 30 majors, including 3 provincial comprehensive reform pilot majors, 2 central financial support projects to enhance the development capacity of professional service industry, 6 provincial key (characteristic) majors, 7 provincial excellent courses (resource sharing courses, MOOC), and 17 provincial teaching achievement awards. There are 6000 full-time students. At present, there are 9 professors, 57 with the title of deputy senior or above; 3 provincial famous teachers, 4 provincial excellent teachers, 11 provincial professional leaders, and 4 provincial teaching rookies.

The college has more than 120 comprehensive campus laboratories, including academic lecture hall, studio, film and television production center, animation production center, experimental radio station, experimental television station, campus website, radio and television transmission center, electronic production laboratory, communication and network laboratory, multimedia network voice room, animation production room, advertising production room, TV program production and editing room, and non editing laboratory Test and training base. The total value of teaching instruments and equipment is more than 34 million yuan. The school's Radio and television stations have begun to take shape. They can run their own programs and live programs, and the network can reach each student's dormitory.

Communication University of China, Beijing Film Academy and Zhejiang Media Academy have established continuing education teaching centers in our college. Every year, a large number of students pass the "college to university" examination and enter Anhui University, Anhui Agricultural University, Hefei University, Hefei Normal University, Fuyang Normal University and other undergraduate colleges and universities to study.

In recent years, our teachers have undertaken more than 60 projects at or above the provincial level, including 1 humanities and Social Sciences project of the Ministry of education, 4 provincial philosophy and Social Sciences planning projects, 28 provincial teaching and research projects (6 key projects), 17 humanities and social sciences research projects (8 key projects), 7 natural science research projects (2 key projects) and 6 youth talent fund projects (2 key projects); It has won more than 60 awards at all levels, such as the first prize of National Golden Sail Award for radio and television, the first prize of provincial teaching achievement, the first prize of provincial radio and television news award, and published more than 50 teaching materials and more than 850 academic papers.

Over the years, the college has always adhered to the school running philosophy of "service-oriented, employment oriented, quality oriented, characteristic brand creation", adhered to the school running idea of "based on the media, facing the society, paying attention to quality, and strengthening skills", and actively established in-depth school enterprise cooperation with Anhui Radio and television station, Anhui Radio and television media industry group and other well-known enterprises in the industry to promote the development of the college "Order form", "double certificate system" and other forms of training mode. The "double certificate" rate (diploma and vocational qualification certificate) among students is more than 90%.

The college attaches great importance to the employment of graduates, and has established a graduate employment guidance and service system integrating education, management, guidance and service. In recent years, the employment rate of graduates is more than 95%, which has been praised by the Provincial Department of education for many times. At present, many professional backbone technicians from Anhui Provincial Radio and TV stations to all city and County Radio and television bureaus, radio stations, TV stations and network companies at all levels are graduates of our college. Some of them have also taken leadership positions, and some of them have grown into famous hosts, announcers, editors and journalists.
