The predecessor of Shijiazhuang preschool teachers college is Hebei Shijiazhuang Preschool Teachers College, which is a combination of the former Hebei Shijiazhuang Preschool Teachers College and the former Hebei Shijiazhuang foreign language teachers college. The former Hebei Shijiazhuang preschool normal school was founded in May 1984, which is the first state-run full-time secondary preschool normal school approved by the people's Government of Hebei Province. The predecessor of the former Hebei Shijiazhuang foreign language normal school is Shijiazhuang normal school, which was founded in May 1948 and is the cradle of primary school teachers in Shijiazhuang. On October 27, 2006, with the approval of Hebei provincial government, the two schools merged and established a new Hebei Shijiazhuang preschool normal school. With 30 years of experience in training kindergarten teachers and more than 60 years of normal education accumulation, Hebei Shijiazhuang kindergarten normal school has become the leader in Hebei kindergarten teachers' circle.
