Taishan Nursing Vocational College

Shandong Taian health school, formerly known as "Shandong Taian midwifery school", was established with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's government and the approval of Shandong Provincial Department of health in June 1956, under the leadership of Shandong Provincial Department of health. In 1959, the nursing school attached to the people's Hospital of Tai'an special region and the Department of traditional Chinese medicine of the Department of medicine of Taishan University were merged and renamed as Shandong Tai'an health school. In the same year, it was identified as a provincial key secondary professional school. In 1960, it was changed into Jinan Medical College with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's Committee. In 1961, with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's Committee, Jinan Medical College and Shandong Tai'an middle school were established In 1980, Taian health school and loude branch of Shandong Medical College were merged into Taishan Medical College. Taian health school stopped recruiting students and resumed its establishment in 1984.
