Wuhan College of electronic information is a student aid institution with the qualification of higher education self-study examination. It is a student aid unit of higher education self-study examination approved by Wuhan Municipal Bureau of education and recognized by Hubei Provincial Department of education. It is a social student aid organization of higher education self-study examination registered by national higher education self-study examination committee (examination center of Ministry of Education) and a director of China Private Education Association Unit (selected by Hubei Provincial Department of Education), executive director unit of Higher Education Committee of China Association of private education, member unit of self taught examination branch of China Association of higher education. Since 2002, we have cooperated with Wuhan University of technology to hold the self-taught higher education examination class, which is the largest of the eight self-taught higher education examination stations in Wuhan University of technology.

Wuhan College of electronic information has a history of 20 years. It is located at No.1, Gongda Road, Mafang mountain. There are more than 3000 students in the self-taught examination class of higher education. The students come from 26 provinces and cities in China. It is one of the large-scale self-taught examination aid units in Hubei Province. Wuhan College of electronic information has five departments and one department, including the Department of information engineering, the Department of mechanical and electrical engineering, the Department of economic management, the Department of grammar and art, the Department of architectural engineering, and the Department of social assistance. It also has Party committees, trade unions, Communist Youth League and other party and mass organizations. The purpose of running the school is clear, the teaching facilities are complete, the internal management organization is perfect, the rules and regulations are perfect, and the teachers are strong. The college has 179 full-time and part-time teachers and management team, of which more than 80% are associate professors, masters or above. At present, there are 68 teaching classes, more than 4000 students in self-taught higher education examination class (Full-time) and more than 1500 correspondence students. The source of students covers 26 provinces and cities in China. It is one of the large-scale social aid units for self-taught higher education examination in Hubei Province.
