Jiangsu Medical Vocational College

Public college has a long history. It is a full-time public college, located in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. Its predecessor was Huazhong health school founded by the New Fourth Army in July 1941. In 1958, Yancheng Medical College and Yancheng College of traditional Chinese medicine were established. In July 1964, Yancheng Health School of Jiangsu Province was established. In March 2005, it was upgraded to Yancheng health vocational and technical college. Over the past 70 years, more than 40000 health professionals have been trained for the society.

The whole school of health major is a higher vocational college approved by the Ministry of education to set up clinical medicine major. There are 18 specialties, including clinical medicine, nursing, pharmacy, medical imaging technology, rehabilitation treatment technology, and medical laboratory technology. The specialty types basically cover the medical and health categories of higher vocational colleges. Among them, there are 1 provincial class a brand specialty, 2 provincial characteristic specialties, 2 national key construction specialties, 3 key specialty groups of colleges and universities in the 12th Five Year Plan, and 4 national and provincial training bases.

The quality of personnel training is high, and the school focuses on improving students' comprehensive quality and strengthening the cultivation of students' professional ability. In recent years, in the national vocational skills competition, our students majoring in nursing, pharmacy, traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation treatment technology, medical testing technology and other majors have won 69 individual and group awards, including 23 first prizes. In the past three years, the passing rate of nursing graduates in our school has been 100% in the national nursing practice examination, ranking the first in the province. The quality of personnel training enjoys a high reputation throughout the country.
