Changzhou Information Vocational and technical college is the first information vocational and technical college in Jiangsu Province, which is subordinate to Jiangsu Economic and Information Commission. The college has a history of more than 50 years. It was founded in 1962, initially known as Changzhou Qinye electromechanical school. In 1980, it was renamed Changzhou radio industry school. In October 2000, with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial People's government, Changzhou radio industry school and Changzhou electronic workers University were merged to establish Changzhou Information Vocational and technical college. The college is located in Changzhou, the most economically developed hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta in China. It is located in Changzhou Higher Vocational park with beautiful scenery and modern atmosphere, integrating teaching, scientific research, training, vocational skill appraisal and social service. In 2003, the college was established by the Ministry of education as a national model software vocational and technical college. Every year, teachers are selected to go abroad for training. The college has established the alliance of Japanese, Korean, Taiwan and private enterprises.
