The rhizome and rhizome of dryomaris (dryomassidae) are derived from the rhizome of dryomassidae.
[plant morphology] perennial herb, up to 1m high. Rhizome thick, together with petiole base dense brown ovate lanceolate large scales. The leaves are clustered, the petiole is 10-25cm long, and the lobes are close, oblong and round, with 20-30 pairs of pinnae, almost complete margin or blunt serration at the apex, and yellowish brown scales on both sides and on the leaf axis. Sporangia are distributed on the pinnae above the middle of leaves and below the middle of veinlets, 1-4 pairs per lobe. The cysts are round, reniform and brown.
Born in Forest Wetland. It is mainly produced in Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning.
[harvesting] in spring and autumn, the above ground parts are cut off and dried in the sun.
[character] this product is cone-shaped, like pineapple, 10-20cm long, and its surface is densely covered with neat petiole base and yellowish brown membranous scales. Petiole base is oblate cylindrical, slightly curved. The surface is brown black, slightly glossy, with irregular longitudinal ridges; the cross section is round or semicircular, light brown, and there are 5-13 small vascular bundles near the edge. The rhizome is 1-2cm in diameter, light brown, with 5-13 large yellow white vascular bundles in the cross section. Special Qi, slightly astringent and bitter taste.
[chemical composition] it contains filmanone, which is decomposed to produce: filicacid BBB, PBB, PBP, flavaspidicacid BB, Pb, AB; albaspidin AA, BB, Pb, etc.
[nature and taste] it is slightly cold in nature and bitter in taste.
[indications] clearing away heat and toxin, expelling insects and stopping bleeding. It is used to prevent influenza, abdominal pain, metrorrhagia (with charcoal).
