[pharmacological action] Radix Astragali was replaced by Radix Astragali in Fujian folk medicine. In animal experiments, huanghuaren and Huangqi decoction can reduce the blood pressure of anesthetized rabbits and inhibit the isolated frog heart. On the other hand, Astragalus membranaceus has obvious excitatory effect. The results showed that both Astragalus membranaceus and chlorphenidium flaviflorum had excitatory effect on the intestinal tract of rabbits in situ, while Astragalus membranaceus could reduce the tension of isolated rabbit intestine, while chlorphenidium flaviflorum could increase it. No mice died within 24 hours after intraperitoneal injection of 12.5-50 g / kg of the two decoction, but one of the five mice in the high-dose group died 48 hours later.
It is cool in nature and pungent in taste.
