Chen Ju
Chen Ju, female, born on June 10, 1950 in Ilan County, Taiwan Province, is a trendy School of the Democratic Progressive Party, and holds a master's degree in the Institute of public affairs management, Sun Yat sen University, Taiwan. He was a deputy to the national assembly, director of the social Bureau of Taipei municipal government, director of the social Bureau of Kaohsiung Municipal government, member of the Standing Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party, chairman of the Labor Committee of the Executive Yuan, mayor of Kaohsiung, and acting chairman of the Democratic Progressive Party.
On July 17, 2020, Taiwan's legislature will vote on the "supervisory yuan" personnel consent right. Chen Ju, the "President of supervision" nominees, won 65 votes of approval, 3 votes of dissent and 2 votes of invalidity, and will become Taiwan's "President of supervision".

Character controversy
From 1980 to 1986, Chen Ju was arrested for the Meili Island incident, and was charged with rebellion by the general law of the people's Republic of China. She was sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment and served six years and two months' imprisonment.
On December 9, 2006, in the election of Kaohsiung mayor in Taiwan Province, due to the "walking worker" incident, Huang Junying (a member of the Chinese National Party) was defeated by a narrow margin of 1114 votes and elected as the mayor of Kaohsiung, becoming another official mayor of Kaohsiung with DPP status after Xie Changting.
On June 15, 2007, the first instance of Kaohsiung District Court ruled that the election of Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Ju was invalid.
On July 12, 2007, Chen Ju appealed against the judgment.
On November 16, 2007, the Kaohsiung Branch of the Taiwan Provincial High Court issued a judgment in the second instance, in which the invalid part of the election was upheld in the first instance, the invalid part was abandoned, and Chen Ju was sentenced to be valid. On the evening of August 30, 2009, Dalai arrived in Taiwan Province for a visit. Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Ju met Dalai at Taoyuan International Airport.

In May 21, 2009, Chen Ju visited Chinese mainland Beijing, Shanghai and other places. He has become the most senior executive of the DPP who has visited the mainland so far.
