Luo Junqiang
Luo Junqiang, born in 1902 in Changsha, Hunan Province, joined the Communist Party of China in his early years, then left the party and joined the Kuomintang. After the confluence of Nanjing and Han, Luo Junqiang served as the political instructor of the Army Academy of the national government. During the Anti Japanese War, he became a traitor and served as chairman of the puppet frontier Committee, Minister of the puppet judicial administration department, Secretary General of the puppet Shanghai municipal government, etc. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he was arrested by the national government for the crime of traitor and sentenced to life imprisonment. He was released for medical treatment in 1964 and died in 1970.
Life of the characters
Luo Junqiang was born in 1902. In 1920, he studied in Changsha middle school and joined Hunan student union. In 1922, he joined the Chinese Socialist Youth League and soon joined the Communist Party of China. Together with Li Lisan, he launched the movement of "supporting Tan (Yankai) and opposing Zhao (hengti)" in Hunan. He edited Chi Guang weekly and concurrently served as the Secretary of Hunan Branch of the Marxist theory research Association.
In the spring of 1923, Luo Junqiang's father died and held a big feast. He was criticized by the party. Luo Junqiang announced in Changsha that he would leave the Communist Party. In 1924, he resumed his party membership and served as secretary of the Hunan provincial Party committee of the Chinese Socialist Youth League and Secretary of the Hunan Training Committee of the Communist Party of China. In the summer of 1925, he left the party for the second time and joined the Kuomintang. In 1926, he served as a captain of the Wuhan Branch of the central military and political school and took refuge with Zhou Fuhai, secretary general and director of the Political Department of the school. From then on, Luo Junqiang became Zhou Fuhai's political partner. In 1927, after the confluence of Nanjing and Han, Luo Junqiang was appointed as the political instructor of the Nanjing Kuomintang army academy and joined the Chiang Kai Shek group. In 1939, following Wang Jingwei's treason to the enemy, he became a traitor. He successively served as chairman of the puppet frontier Committee, Minister of the puppet judicial administration department, General Commander of the puppet Central Tax Police Corps, governor of Anhui Province and director of the puppet Bengbu appeasement office, and Secretary General of the puppet Shanghai municipal government. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he was appointed deputy commander in chief of the Shanghai operation corps by the Military Commission of the Chongqing national government. In March 1947, Luo Junqiang was arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment. In January 1949, the ban was lifted from Nanjing Tilan prison. In 1964, he was released to hospital and died in 1970.
Main works
Wang Jingwei, the author of the book "records of the shadow of the puppet court -- a record of Wang's memories of the puppet government", reveals a lot of the dark scenes of Wang Jingwei's puppet government's traitorous activities in the name of "peace movement", which is deposited in the Archives Bureau of Shanghai higher people's court.
