So he changed his mind and asked puyizi for advice on how to make the country rich and the people strong. Pu Yizi used the past as a metaphor for the present, expounded the way of governing the country and talked about it with great eloquence. King Yao listened attentively and benefited a lot. He hated to see each other so late that he immediately worshipped Pu Yizi as his teacher.

It is also said that puyizi Daotai was set up in Puxian County, hence the name of Puxian county.

The origin of names

When he left, King Yao told Pu Yizi the true meaning of his visit and asked him to recommend a sage who could take over the throne. Pu Yizi recommended Shun. " From then on, the place where puyizi lived in seclusion was named puyicun.
