Wen Shilin
Wen Shilin (1870-1935) was born in Tianjin. A scholar in the late Qing Dynasty. Tianjin Naval Academy. He once served as secretary of the Minister of railways, Hu Fuzhen, and staff of the Zhili governor's office, Tianjin Road Department and the eastern expedition. He founded Tianjin universal education women's school in Tianjin and served as the general manager of Xingsu daily, advocating the new deal.

He founded Tianjin universal education women's school in Tianjin and served as the general manager of Xingsu daily, advocating the new deal. In 1908, provincial Advisory bureaus were set up. He participated in the Zhili autonomous research institute established by sun Hongyi and others. In 1910, Tongguo academic comrades Association, a student organization in all provinces of Tianjin, was elected president. In order to solve the Jinpu railway parking lot incident with Liu Mengyang, the president of Min Xing Bao, he led more than 3000 students of the academic comrades' Association to petition the governor's office, angered Chen Kui long, the governor of Zhili, and sent him to Xinjiang for the crime of disturbing the local area. He published "the construction of a democratic society" in Xinjiang and was sent to Tibet. After the revolution of 1911, he returned to Tianjin and once crossed to Japan to join the alliance. Later, he was elected a member of the house of Representatives. In 1914, Yuan Shikai dissolved the Parliament and fled to Shandong. After Yuan died, he returned to Tianjin and remained a member of the house of Representatives. In 1916, he took an active part in the struggle of Tianjin people against the occupation of laoxikai by French imperialism. In 1923, he was elected as a member of Parliament, and in the same year, he became the president of the national society. He went to Guangdong to take refuge with Sun Yat Sen and served as a counselor of the Guangdong military government. Later, he returned to Tianjin to engage in public welfare and education activities.
