Shen Qian
Shen Qian, male, was born in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province in 1965. He graduated from the Department of political history of Suzhou Normal University in 1985 and graduated from the teaching assistant class of the Institute of history of central China Normal University in 1987. He was awarded associate professor in 2003 and professor in 2009. He is now a professor of history in Changshu Institute of technology and a master's supervisor of Suzhou Institute of science and technology. He joined the Chinese Writers Association in 2013.
Teaching and research
He has long been engaged in the teaching and research of professional basic courses such as the history of the late Qing Dynasty, the history of the Republic of China and the history of the people's Republic of China, as well as elective courses such as the history of Chinese culture, Buddhist culture, tourism culture and Jiangnan culture. Independently completed 4 scientific research projects of Jiangsu Provincial Department of education, 1 project of Jiangsu Provincial Department of culture, and independently undertook and presided over 2 research projects. He has published more than 50 academic papers in such core journals as world religion research, modern history research, literary heritage, Fayin, academic monthly, Journal of central China Normal University, history teaching issues, Journal of Soochow University and Social Science Forum. The research field is the history of modern Chinese thought and the history of regional social culture, with the study of characters as the center and the integration of literature and history as the logic.
The main research direction is Jiangnan cultural family and social change.

Among them, Zongyang Shangren Ji and Huang Zongyang Zhuanlun, which have been published successively for more than 20 years, are regarded by the academic circles as fundamentally making up for the important historical defects and "adding a new chapter to the history of modern China and the history of modern Chinese Buddhism."
In addition, he published a collection of personal essays called "the scholar sings" (Shandong pictorial press, 2008). He has published more than 80 works in biography literature, literature and art daily, prose world, biography of celebrities, biography literature (Taiwan), Guangming Daily, Zhonghua Shudu daily, Social Science Daily, root seeking and other newspapers at home and abroad. His works, an emotional journey of Gu Weijun, a diplomat in the Republic of China, include the best biographical literature of 2001 in China.
