Wang Jingming
1668-1721 from Jiading (now Shanghai) in Qing Dynasty. Kangxi 46 years (1707) Southern tour, into poetry and painting known as the purpose. Ding Wai was in trouble, and he went back to find a soldier. With the original Qi Tongpu, the mountains and rivers are treated by its method. They are clear, rich and leisurely. Gongxiaokai, born with inkstone addiction, who asked for painting to throw a good stone, all should stand. The former Qi disciples were called Jin, Cao, Wang and Li, and they were called Jin Yongxi, Cao Peiyuan, Jingming and Li Weixian. There are Weiyan's poems.
Life of the characters
Wang Jingming is the first champion in the history of Jiading. He is a native of today's Malu town. His ancestral home has a large building and a wide courtyard. He has left the place name of "Wang Lou" in the local area, which is still preserved. Wang Jingming once wrote a poem about his hometown: Dongzhuang, my private land, stealing and comparing the river.
The water and wood are light and wild, holding several rafters in the middle.

Wang is a famous scholar in the local area. Wang Jingming's great grandfather, Wang Taiji, and Huang Chunyao were the same candidates. After the death of the Ming Dynasty, Wang Taiji lived in seclusion in his hometown. The Qing government had repeatedly asked him to be an official, but he refused. He regarded himself as a adherent of the Ming Dynasty. He always entertained himself with poetry and prose. The magistrate of Jiading County and the honest and upright official Lu Longqi admired his noble personality and literature, and compared him to Pang Degong (a hermit in the Eastern Han Dynasty) and Tao Yuanming (a hermit in the Eastern Jin Dynasty). Wang Wei, Wang Jingming's father, became famous for his poetry when he was young. Wang Wan, who was a master of medicine, was 67 years old when he was a Jinshi in the middle school.
In 1667, Wang Jingming was born in the fourth Wangzhai of Wanglou. Wang Jingming, the word Dansi, the number taste leisure. Influenced and educated by the family since childhood, he loved literature, especially poetry, calligraphy and painting. In 1707, Emperor Kangxi visited the south. At the age of 39, Wang Jingming presented poems and paintings, which were highly appreciated by Emperor Kangxi. He was summoned to Changchun Garden of the imperial palace as the editor of Wuying hall. From then on, there was a chance to see the emperor often.
Six years later, in 1713, Wang Jingming, 45, took the Enke examination and won the first prize. Emperor Kangxi was very happy and often said to his ministers, "Wang Jingming has followed me for many years and is the first number one scholar who was taught by me." At the time of appointment, additional rewards were given to the Imperial Academy. When there are major activities, they often take Wang Jingming with them and intend to train him. Emperor Kangxi also selected a spacious house in the capital and presented it to Wang Jingming. It can be seen that he dotes on Wang Jingming deeply.
In 1715, Wang Jingming served as the same examiner for the joint examination, and in 1717, he served as the same examiner for the Jiangxi provincial examination, selecting talents for the Qing government. In the summer of 1719, Emperor Kangxi led his princes and ministers to Rehe Palace (now Chengde Mountain Resort) for summer, and Wang Jingming also went to Rehe with Kangxi. One day, on a whim, Kangxi asked Wang Jingming to paint a Jiangnan landscape painting for him. Without thinking, Wang Jingming painted the beautiful landscape of the south of the Yangtze River with a few strokes. Kangxi was very happy. Looking at the landscape paintings in the south of the Yangtze River, he thought that Wang Jingming was also from the south of the Yangtze River and asked if his parents were alive. "They are all alive," Wang said Kangxi then said, "it's a blessing for both parents to be healthy. How long will they live?" "Both parents are 74 years old," Wang said Kangxi was very happy. He ordered people to take the four treasures of the study and wrote a plaque: "Qi Niantang." It was a great favor at the time. Wang Jingming asked the craftsmen to make the plaque and hang it in Jianbang's ancestral home.
Character achievement
When Wang Jingming was working in the Imperial Academy, he took part in the compilation of Wanshou ShengDian, and got to know Wang Yuanqi, the backbone of Loudong school, so he paid homage to Wang Yuanqi to learn painting. He, together with Jin Yongxi, Cao Peiyuan and Li Weixian, was the fourth disciple of Wang Yuanqi, known as "King li of Jin Cao". His landscape paintings are clear, rich and leisurely, and his brush and ink are full of color. He is famous for his calligraphy and painting. People regard his paintings and calligraphy as treasures. Wang Jingming has a hobby of collecting inkstones. At that time, people paid a lot of money to buy their paintings, but they could not get them. If they asked for paintings with good inkstones, they would be satisfied. Now Jiading Museum has his paintings and calligraphy.
Wang Jingming is also good at poetry and regular script. His works include Weiyan's poetry manuscript and Manyan's miscellaneous manuscripts. Tao Yuanming and Su Dongpo's poetry style is natural and honest.
Wang Jingming is a dutiful son, who attaches great importance to the relationship between father and son. In the 59th year of Kangxi (1720 A.D.), his father Wang Wan died in Jiading. After hearing the news, Wang Jingming immediately went back to his hometown to mourn. Because he was too sad, he died in his hometown the next year, at the age of 54.
Wang's younger brother, Wang Fu Ming, is a Gongsheng. He is good at poetry and prose. He is quite famous in Jiangnan area. He has compiled ruzhai Yingao, Lianyin Jibu, minglianyin sequel, Guochao Lianyin Ji and so on. He combed and proofread a lot of Jiading poetry in Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, thus retaining a number of poetry works. He died at the age of 82.
