Guo Feng
Guo Feng (1917-2010), formerly known as Guo Jiagui. Hui nationality. Putian, Fujian. He graduated from Putian Normal University in 1936 and Chinese Department of Fujian Normal University in 1944. He has successively served as a teacher of county primary school, middle school, Fuzhou senior technical school, Fujian Normal University, deputy editor in chief of Xingmin daily, Fujian literature and art, Yuandi and hot wind. Secretary general and vice chairman of the Provincial Federation of literary and art circles, chairman of the Provincial Writers' Association, President of the Chinese prose poetry society, director of the Chinese writers' Association and honorary member of the whole committee. The fairy tale collection "the journey of the red mushrooms" won the second prize of the National Children's literature and art creation, the monkey king in our village won the first prize of the children's literature award of the Chinese Writers Association, Guo Feng's selected essays won the fifth national minority literature Horse Award and Lu Xun's literature award, the prose collection "Huangxiang collection" won the 1995 Taiwan Golden Tripod award, and Han Yan Zhai Wen Za won the sixth national minority literature award The national minority literature Horse Award, as well as many provincial awards, newspaper awards. In 2003 and 2007, the literary and art circles of Fujian Province held two activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Guo Feng's literary creation and the 90th birthday of Guo Feng, a famous writer. Guo Feng deserved the high evaluation of "both virtue and art" in the literary and art circles of Fujian Province. Guo Feng's landscape paintings make people feel like they are on the scene. Guo Feng's early works are simple and fresh, full of natural interest, full of poetic and picturesque, which is the magic unity of landscape painters, custom painters and lyric poets. After his collection of leaf flute was published in early 1959, it had a wide influence all over the country. Bing Xin wrote that he "found the joy of a poet again." Wang Binggen, who wrote Guo Feng's critical biography, recalled his association with the old man and said, "there is no such pure, innocent and transparent old man. His writing is clean, and so are his people. He is a little urchin with a child's heart... " Chen Zhangwu, former vice chairman of the Provincial Federation of literary and art circles and chairman of the original works Association, who has worked and lived with Guo for nearly 30 years, expressed his feelings for the deceased as a teacher and friend in poetic language: "a gentle and generous elder. " Li Liewen commented on Guo Feng's fairy tale poems and said: "Mr. Guo Feng's fairy tale poems have opened up a new realm for Chinese New Poetry and become a new flower in the new poetry world...".
Guo Feng's outstanding literary achievement lies in prose poetry. This kind of works mostly express the rural scenery and life scenes with local characteristics in Southern Fujian, and express the author's sincere feelings for the local and the motherland.
Since the new era, his works have been pursuing nature, natural color and simplicity, with a broader sense of history and deeper philosophical implication, reflecting everyone's style.
His work "the winter of songfangxi" has been selected into the first volume of primary school textbook for sixth grade compulsory education.
"Winter of songfangxi" has been selected as Lesson 7 of compulsory education curriculum standard experimental textbook for Grade 5 of primary school. It has also been selected as lesson 28 of modern primary school Chinese for Grade 6.
