Li Zongyang, male, was born in May 1929 in Yingkou, Liaoning Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China. Graduated from Liaoning University.

He took part in the revolution in 948. He once served as the administrative secretary, section chief, deputy director of the office, social management department, deputy director of the three departments, and director of the Political Department of Liaodong province and Liaoning Province.

Now he is a member of the Chinese calligraphy and Painting Association for the elderly and a calligraphy researcher of Zhongyuan Academy of calligraphy and painting.

Life

He took part in the revolution in 1948, and served as the administrative secretary, section chief, deputy director of the office, social management department, deputy director of the three departments, director of the Political Department of Liaodong province and Liaoning Province. In 1986, he served as executive director and Deputy Secretary General of Transportation Association of provincial planning and Economic Commission and chief editor of Liaoning transportation. After retirement, he engaged in painting and calligraphy. In 1994, he was elected as the executive director, vice president and Secretary General of Liaoning elderly painting and Calligraphy Research Association. Now he is a member of the Chinese calligraphy and Painting Association for the elderly and a calligraphy researcher of Zhongyuan Academy of calligraphy and painting.

Main achievements

In October 1992, he celebrated the 43rd anniversary of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 6th anniversary of the establishment of the provincial Painting Association, and his works won the award of excellent works. In October of the same year, the traditional Chinese painting exhibition of Liaoning bulaosong painting association was held in Beijing, and the work "Liaodong guerrilla base - hongshiwei" was exhibited in the China Art Museum, which was highly praised by LV Zhengcao, Gao Yang and other leading comrades. His calligraphy works were awarded the excellent award and won the certificates issued by the Chinese Academy of calligraphy, China International Cultural Exchange Center, China Art Association and Calligraphy Association. In April 1995, in the first mass calligraphy competition of Liaoning Province, calligraphy won the third prize and was awarded the title of "competition calligrapher". In the provincial calligraphy and painting exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the victory of the Anti Japanese War, calligraphy works were selected and won a bronze badge; the calligraphy work Qinyuanchun was collected by the exhibition hall of General Zhang Xueliang's former residence. He took part in the national calligraphy and painting competition of Yangtze River Closure and won the gold medal for his calligraphy works.
