Xiang County
Xiang County, an ancient Chinese County, is located in the western suburb of Huaidian Hui town, Shenqiu County, Henan Province. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, it belonged to Xiang state. In the spring and Autumn period, it was destroyed by Qi State and later owned by Chu state. In the Qin Dynasty, it belonged to Huaiyang county. In the Han Dynasty, it belonged to Runan County of Yuzhou. In the Three Kingdoms period, it belonged to Chen County of Yuzhou. In the Western Jin Dynasty, it belonged to Chen County of Yuzhou first and then to Liang county. In the Southern Song Dynasty, it belonged to Xiangcheng County Chenjun County of Yuzhou was followed by Northern Wei, Eastern Wei, Northern Qi and Northern Zhou Dynasty. Moling county was set up by overseas Chinese in Xiang County in Eastern Wei Dynasty. After the Sui Dynasty unified China, Xiang county was changed to wanqiu county and moling county to Xiangcheng County.
Pre Qin Period
During the Western Zhou Dynasty, it belonged to Xiang state, surnamed Ji and viscount. It was adjacent to Chen state, dun state and Shen state, and stood across Yingshui. In the 17th year (643 B.C.) of the Duke of Lu, he was destroyed in the state of Qi. Later, it was owned by the state of Chu, and Xiang Yu's ancestor was a general of Chu. He was granted Xiang and took Xiang as his surname. When King Xiang of Chu took Chen (now Huaiyang county of Henan Province) as his capital and Xiang as his other capital.
The Qin Dynasty
Qin destroyed Chu and belonged to Huaiyang county.
Han Dynasty
Han Dynasty belongs to Runan County of Yuzhou.

It belongs to the state of Wei, the state of Chen (Chen county) in Yuzhou. In the first month of the second year of Zhengyuan (255), Wu Qiujian and Wen Qin launched a campaign against Sima Shi in Shouchun and stationed troops in Xiang county.
Jin dynasty
In the Western Jin Dynasty, it first belonged to the state of Chen (Chen county) in Yuzhou, and then to the state of Liang (Liang county). He was once the governor of Yuzhou and the last Sima Yue stationed in Xiang county during the eight kings' rebellion. He died here. in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, it was owned by the later Zhao Dynasty, the former Yan Dynasty, the former Qin Dynasty, the Eastern Jin Dynasty and the later Qin Dynasty, belonging to Chen county.
The southern and Northern Dynasties
During the reign of Emperor Wu of Song Dynasty, Huaibei was pacified and Xiang county was changed to Xiang Cheng County, belonging to Chen County of Yuzhou. Later, it was occupied by the Northern Wei Dynasty, changed to Xiang County, merged with Chen County, and belonged to Chen county. Later, it was owned by the Eastern Wei Dynasty, the Northern Qi Dynasty and the Northern Zhou Dynasty. During the Eastern Wei Dynasty, moling county was set up by overseas Chinese in Xiang County as the governing seat of Yangzhou and Danyang county. The southern Liang Dynasty was changed to Yinzhou, the Eastern Wei Dynasty to northern Yangzhou, the Northern Qi Dynasty to Xinzhou, and the Northern Zhou Dynasty to Chenzhou.
Sui Dynasty
In the Sui Dynasty, moling county was changed into Wanxiang County in China.
